What we build.
Steady Eddie is a standalone division of Sustainable Infrastructure Group Ltd. (SIG). We build a unit that sits in a machine's seat and works the stock controls, electric where it turns and pneumatic where it pushes, with three independent ways to take control away from it. STE Integrated runs on our own fleet, on twelve machines across ten families.
Rich Valley is a full plant, not a workshop.
We manufacture at the Rich Valley facility in Alberta, with its own machine shop and fabrication, inside a group that has run heavy equipment since before this division existed. The fleet in the yard is ours and the ground we work on is ours.
Who we look for.
- Controls and mechatronics
- Engineers who design the drives that work a cab's controls and the systems that hold them to their limits.
- Pneumatics
- Engineers who work air, and know why a system that lets go when it loses pressure is the right kind to build.
- Machine operators
- Operators who know a cab from the inside and want to teach a robot to work it. A senior role here.
- Field technicians
- Technicians who help owners fit a dock, pin the control units and run the first calibration on real ground in real weather.
- Software for rule-based control
- Engineers who write the rules a machine is held to, and know why the planner answers to them.
