The SE Family · Ten Machine Families

One family,
sorted by machine type.

This is the Steady Eddie product family — forty-four engineered packages organised into ten machine families: excavators, wheel loaders, backhoe loaders, compact track loaders, compactors and rollers, forklifts, dozers, tractors, telehandlers and specialty machines. It is the roadmap of the range, machine class by machine class.

Families group machine types; product codes — SE-X001 through SE-X044 — identify the engineered package for a specific machine. All forty-four are GOLD STANDARD engineering-complete today.

Proof of Architecture

Prove it on 1928 iron.
Then nothing newer can hide.

SE-X001 "Heritage Demonstrator" is built around a 1928 Ford Model A — a machine with no CAN bus, no ECU and no firmware because none of it had been invented. Eddie works the car entirely through its own wheel, pedals and levers: steering, brake, clutch and throttle, with clamp and split-collar installation and no drilling into the machine.

That is the architecture's cleanest proof. A machine with zero electronics can only be operated the way a human operates it — and that is the only way Eddie ever operates anything. SE-X001 carries a full independent technical and safety review, as does SE-X006, the Caterpillar 320 excavator: the two bookends of the catalogue, nearly a century apart, on the same stack.

Every family below inherits that same architecture — one dock geometry, one actuator family, one control map per machine class.

Family Roster

Ten families, by machine class

Forty-four engineered packages, SE-X001 through SE-X044, grouped into ten machine families. Every product in the catalogue has physical hardware running on the bench today — not yet installed on a customer machine in the field. All forty-four are GOLD STANDARD — engineering-complete, with full BOM, drawings, manuals and electrical and software design. Every family runs the same architecture — a dock, an Eddie unit, and the machine's own controls — and the same mandatory rule: a human starts the machine, every time, before Eddie ever engages the controls.

The same architecture behind every line

Whatever the machine type, every family line inherits one stack: independent perception, rule-governed planning, standardized actuators on the stock human controls, and an independent safety layer with veto.
